After an emotional late-night conversation, Kiara Advani told Sushant Singh Rajput that “someone should someday make a biopic on you”

After portraying Sakshi Dhoni in cricketer MS Dhoni’s biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Bollywood actress Kiara Advani rose to prominence. She appeared in the film alongside late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who played the titular character. Kiara recently discussed how well she got to know Sushant during the filming of the film. In June 2020, Sushant died of an apparent suicide.

During the MS Dhoni: The Untold Story shoot in Aurangabad, Kiara got to speak with Sushant in depth. “We started the shoot in Aurangabad, and we must have packed up at 8 pm,” the actor recalled on The Ranveer Show podcast. Our flight was at 4 a.m. And we made the decision to call it an all-nighter.

That’s when I got to meet Sushant and we started talking. It’s fascinating because he talked about his journey, how Dhoni came into his life, and his overall life story, from being a backup dancer for Preity Zinta to being an engineer who was always reading massive books.”

“Someone should make a biopic on you someday because it is so interesting,” Kiara told Sushant after speaking with him. Sushant was also ‘passionate’ about his craft, according to the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor. “Sushant had a booklet that had questions he had asked Dhoni and their answers too,” she revealed during MS Dhoni’s shoot. He’d spent a lot of time researching Dhoni’s personal and professional life.”

Sushant used to sleep for only two hours and still show up on set the next day ‘energised,’ which the actor found ‘fascinating.’ According to Kiara, he believes that the human body only requires two hours of sleep.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s performance in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story was praised. He was nominated for a Filmfare Award and won the Screen Award for Best Actor for the film. Disha Patani and Anupam Kher played pivotal roles in the film directed by Neeraj Pandey.
