Actor Shane Nigam to debut in Kollywood

One of the popular Malayalam actor Shane Nigam, is all set make his debut in Tamil. The actor, who has been part of critically acclaimed films like Kumbalangi Knights and Ishq, will be acting in director Seenu Ramasamy’s next film, which, we hear, has been titled ‘Spa’.

According to the sources “The film is about a youngster in Chennai falling in love with a girl from the northeast who works in a spa, and the aftermath of this romance. Shane, who can speak Tamil fluently, liked the story very much, and he immediately agreed to be part of it. He is now hot property in Malayalam, but is so excited about this script that he even shuffled his dates to accommodate this project.” The film is likely start the shoot at the end of November and the team is planning to shoot in Chennai, Pondicherry and Meghalaya.

This will be the first film that Seenu Ramasamy, who is known for his rural emotional dramas, will be making a film that will have Chennai as the backdrop. Ambeth Kumar will produce the movie. NR Raghunanthan, will be the music director of the film while M Sukumar, will be the cinematographer.
