L&T Technology Services Expects Strong H2 as Revenue and Profits Rise
India’s L&T Technology Services expects a strong second half of fiscal year 2027, supported by a growing order backlog and the execution of major deals secured in recent quarters. The engineering and technology services company reported consolidated revenue of ₹30.4 billion for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, up from ₹27.13 billion in the same period last year.
Net profit from continuing operations increased 19.6% to ₹3.80 billion, while revenue in its sustainability segment grew 22.9% year-on-year. The mobility business recorded 13.5% growth, while revenue from the technology segment remained flat. North America, which accounts for 60.7% of total revenue, registered 4.4% growth.
Despite challenges in the engineering, research and development industry, including slower electric vehicle adoption and restrained technology spending, the company remains optimistic about future growth. CEO Amit Chadha highlighted rising demand for engineering intelligence solutions, major deals and improving regional opportunities as key drivers of its medium-term outlook.
