Colgate-Palmolive India Names Kenvue India Head as New CEO

Colgate-Palmolive India has appointed Kenvue executive Manish Anandani as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 28. Anandani, who most recently led Kenvue’s India and South Asia operations, will take charge as the company looks to strengthen growth through premium products and e-commerce.

Anandani brings extensive experience in the consumer goods sector, including nearly 13 years at Colgate-Palmolive in India and global roles. He also held senior positions at Johnson & Johnson before joining Kenvue, which was spun off from Johnson & Johnson in 2023. Colgate-Palmolive said his experience includes e-commerce and retail strategy, areas that are increasingly important to its growth plans.

Current CEO and Managing Director Prabha Narasimhan will move to the role of Executive Vice President of Marketing for Colgate-Palmolive’s Asia-Pacific division. During her nearly four-year tenure, Colgate-Palmolive India’s shares gained 14.5%, compared with a nearly 9% rise in the Nifty FMCG index. The company’s shares fell about 1% on Friday following the leadership announcement.
