Blue Dart Reports 81% Jump in Q1 Profit on Strong Shipment Volumes
Blue Dart Express reported an 81% increase in consolidated net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, driven by strong shipment volumes and higher revenue. The company posted a net profit of ₹884.9 million, up from ₹488.3 million a year earlier, while revenue from operations grew 15%.
The DHL Group-backed logistics company said effective cost control measures helped offset rising aviation and ground fuel expenses. Blue Dart added that its focus on service quality and efficient network operations enabled it to maintain business momentum despite a challenging economic environment.
India’s logistics sector continues to remain highly competitive, with Blue Dart facing pricing and market share pressure from major rivals such as Delhivery, along with numerous smaller regional logistics providers.
