Shah Rukh-Gauri Khan support ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ while fans are busy making Pathaan trend: ‘Pathaan will lift Bollywood up’
Shah Rukh Khan’s followers were delighted when Gauri Khan shared a snapshot of the couple with their boys Aryan and Abram. The family appears to be in agreement with the “Har Ghar Tiranga” movement. The Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is a national flag-hoisting campaign that the Indian government is inviting Indians to participate in from August 13 to August 15, in advance of India’s 75th Independence Day.
The Khans, who were wearing all white, posed while the enormous Indian flag of their home Mannat flew proudly in the background. “Happy Independence Day,” Gauri wrote as the post’s caption.
Shah Rukh too shared a video and wrote, “Teaching the young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of our Freedom Fighters for our country India, will still take a few more sittings. But getting the flag hoisted by the little one made us all FEEL the pride, love and happiness instantly.”
In other developments, Shah Rukh is already in the news for his upcoming movies. Shah Rukh Khan’s fans have come out in support of the actor following the #BoycottPathaan movement and have made the hashtag #PathaanFirstDayFirstShow popular on social media.
Recent consumers’ boycotts of Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan have made the boycott trend a prominent topic of conversation for celebrities and filmmakers.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The actioner is slated to hit the theatres on January 25, 2023.
