Another Pet Dog Attack In Lift, This Time In Noida Housing Society

Another video of a dog attack in Noida has surfaced, days after a distressing video of a pet dog biting a youngster inside a housing society elevator in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, sparked uproar over the owner’s callousness. The most recent incident was caught on CCTV at the Apex Athena society in Noida’s Sector 75.
One male can be seen standing distantly, close to the elevator’s door, while a youngster is seen holding a dog by the leash in the footage. The dog lunges at the man as he tries to save himself by falling to the ground as the lift stops and the boy moves to exit.

The footage doesn’t make it apparent if the man was bitten.

The dog’s owner can be seen dragging the animal out of the elevator while exerting control over it.

Just two days prior to the incident, a woman in a lift at the Charms Castle community in Rajnagar Extension in Ghaziabad came under fire for failing to assist the youngster when her dog leaped and bit him. The youngster winced in pain as she calmly watched and exited the elevator without saying anything. The Ghaziabad Police has responded in response to the video. According to them, a case has been opened based on the parents’ allegation. They said that the Nandgram police station is taking proactive legal action in a tweet that was written in Hindi.

Incidents of pet dog attacks have reportedly been on the rise in the National Capital Region.
