Famous Bollywood music director Bappi Lahiri passed away

Famous music director and singer Bappi Lahiri has passed away. He died at the Criticare Hospital in Mumbai. He composed many hit songs in Bollywood in the seventies and eighties. He was the one who popularized disco music in Indian cinema. His last song is in the 2020 movie Bhagi.

He was admitted to the hospital a month ago and returned home on Monday. But on Tuesday, his health deteriorated again. The family took a doctor home for an examination and later transferred him back to the hospital. He was diagnosed with OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) after suffering from a number of health problems. Deepak Namjoshi told PTI news agency.

Covid was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital in April last year after he tested positive. Covid was released within a few days.
