“10 lakh jobs in 18 months”: Prime Minister’s Order for “Mission Mode” Hiring

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed that 10 lakh people be recruited on a “mission mode” by various government departments and ministries during the next year and a half, according to his office. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s directive came after a review of the state of human resources in all government departments and ministries, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.

The government’s decision comes in the wake of repeated criticism from the opposition on the subject of unemployment. A considerable number of empty positions in various government sectors have frequently been highlighted. “PM Narendra Modi assessed the state of Human Resources in all departments and ministries and mandated that the Government recruit 10 lakh employees in mission mode in the next 1.5 years,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a tweet.
