And, that is only in the United States where they have built a good reputation for solid utilitarian work-horses for every day usage. The Endeavour is mostly aimed at Asian markets, but carries forward some of the tough off-road charm and built to last feel of the American Macho brutes. The styling is sure to appeal, with massive road presence -thanks to the towering proportions. It is very long at 4.8 metres and the chunky 18 inch wheels certainly look the part.

The high bonnet line and the shear girth of metal on the sides make it one SUV, other road users don’t want to play chicken with. There are no plastic claddings on the wheel arches, but then the Endeavour doesn’t need them to look SUV-ish. It is only the rear that I don’t find very appealing. It has too many details, not all of them complementing one another and almost manages to look Chinese.
