Yellow alert for 9 districts in Kerala today issues IMD

A yellow alert has been given for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Malappuram, and Kannur districts on June 1.
“Heavy precipitation is anticipated and separated regions are required to get 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm downpour in 24 hours. The yellow alert is intended to caution the general population and concerned authorities to the circumstance,” said the Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA).
