Xavi will take charge as new coach of Barcelona today
Xavi Hernandez will officially take over as the new coach of Spanish (La Liga) giants Barcelona FC today. Xavi will speak to the media after his presentation at Camp Nou. Xavi, who is also the legendary player of Barcelona, will replace the sacked Ronald Koeman.
Barcelona have agreed a 5 million compensation deal for two-year deal with Qatari club Al Sadd. Barcelona ‘s first match under Xavi will be against Espanyol on the 20th of this month, as it is a break for international matches. Xavi, one of Barcelona’s all-time greats, has played 767 matches for the club. Participated in 25 Barcelona victories. This includes eight La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues.
