Websites being shut by the US army
According to the Syrian Electronic Army group it is reported that the US army is temporarily closing its website after a hacking attack. It states that an element of the army.mil website had been leaked and for that preventive measures had to be carried out in order to block it. It is found out that the Syrian Electronic Army which supports President Bashar al-Assad is behind the attack. It was earlier reported that the Chinese hackers attacked the federal government computers and have spoiled more than four million employees’ records. However the China has denied these reports and described it not being responsible for the attack. The chief of the army public affairs, US Brig Gen Malcolm Frost has reported that the army had to take appropriate measures to avoid the leakage of army data by closing the website temporarily. The army.mil website is the shop front for the US military.
