Virat Kohli, the “King of All Seasons,” returns to form against the Gujarat Titans, and Twitter bows down

Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bangalore was at his best against Gujarat Titans, demonstrating why he is a big game player. Kohli scored 73 runs in the most important game of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season for RCB, helping the team chase down 169 with eight wickets in hand and eight balls to spare. Kohli hit eight fours and two sixes in his innings, and he batted at a strike rate of 135.19.

Although Kohli’s performance this season has not been up to par, Twitter took notice of how the right-handed batter rose to the occasion when it mattered most, with current and former players flocking to the microblogging site to praise the former India captain.

Due to skipper Hardik Pandya’s unbeaten 62 in the match between RCB and GT, the latter batted first and posted 168/5 in 20 overs. Josh Hazlewood returned with two wickets for RCB.

Kohli and Faf du Plessis put on 115 runs for the first wicket while chasing 169. Kohli and Faf were both dismissed with scores of 73 and 44, respectively. However, Glenn Maxwell scored 40 runs off 18 balls to help RCB win by eight wickets.

RCB has kept their playoff hopes alive with this win, and they now need Delhi Capitals to lose to Mumbai Indians in order to advance.
