UP Signs ₹4,458 Crore Aviation Projects Deal with AISATS for Noida International Airport

The Uttar Pradesh government has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with AISATS to invest ₹4,458 crore in two major aviation service projects at the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar, officials said on Sunday. The agreement was finalized during Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s ongoing visit to Singapore, marking a key outcome of the state’s efforts to attract global investment. The projects include the development of an advanced integrated cargo campus and a world-class air catering facility in Gautam Buddh Nagar district.

According to officials, the cargo campus is expected to transform Jewar into a major air freight and logistics hub for northern India, supporting export-import activities across sectors such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, and agricultural products. The facility will leverage the airport’s planned multi-modal connectivity, strengthening international trade linkages and streamlining supply chains across the region.

The second project involves establishing a modern air catering unit that will supply in-flight meals not only for flights departing from Jewar but also for several airports across northern India. Authorities said the initiatives will boost the regional food processing sector, strengthen supply networks, and create substantial direct and indirect employment. The agreement is being viewed as a significant step toward enhancing the aviation, logistics, and services ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh once the airport becomes operational.
