UP CM Akhilesh seeks lawmakers support; SP may split

 Amidst apprehensions that the Samajwadi Party is likely to split into two unequal groups, the embattled Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav who has been expelled from the party by his father, SP leader, Mulayam Singh Yadav, has convened a meeting requesting the support of the lawmakers. Earlier, giving a shock treatment to the faction supporting the UP Chief Minister and Ram Gopal Yadav, the cousin of Mulayam, the party supremo has expelled both of them citing that the activities of these leaders have weakened the party. While speaking to the supporters, Mulayam has alleged that his son, who has been inducted in the top post by him, has never bothered to consider his instructions. Until now, Mulayam faction has not announced who will be their Chief Minister candidate. Certainly, Mulayam and Sivapal Yadav, Mulayam’s brother, for whom the veteran leader has initiated a bad fight with his own son, are the front runners for the Chief Ministerial  At the peak of the fight, both factions have released independent candidate list for the upcoming UP  .It is learned that the UP CM enjoys enormous support among the lawmakers while his father holds upper hand in the  It is fact that the opposition parties will try to leverage this opportunity. The battling factions will either seek the support of any opposition party or contest the election independently. At this moment, we accurately cannot predict the future of the factions and their game plan.
