Raj Thackeray calls for ban on loudspeakers in mosques; MNS plays Hanuman Chalisa in public

Activists chanting Hanuman Chalisa in front of party office after MNS chief Raj Thackeray demanded a ban on loudspeakers in mosques. In his Gudi Padua Day speech, Raj Thackeray demanded that loudspeakers in mosques be banned. He had threatened that Hanuman Chalisa would be played on loudspeakers in front of mosques if the Maharashtra government did not agree to the ban.

He emphasized that the letter was not a signal of a formal antitrust inquiry into the allegations, but rather a signal of a formal antitrust inquiry into the allegations. In front of the party office in Sai Chowk, Kalyan, MNS activists used loudspeakers to sing Hanuman songs. Activists also chanted the slogan ‘Jai Shriram’.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, NCP president Sharad Pawar and Ashok Chavan have come out against Raj Thackeray’s demand for banning loudspeakers in mosques. Sanjay Raut has said that Raj Thackeray’s remarks were based on a BJP-sponsored script.
