Two Dalit Girls found Dead in a field in Unnao District
Three girls were found in a wheat field with their hands and legs tied in UP. They were taken to the CHC Asoha government hospital where one of the girls was said to be in a critical condition and was given primary treatment while the other two girls were declared dead on arrival. The critical girl was then referred to Unnao district hospital. The girls’ brother complained that they were found with their hands and feet tied up with their scarf.
The police found that the clothes of the victims were intact and no signs of injuries were noted on the bodies of the victims aged 13, 16 and 17 years, only frothing was seen at the mouth. The police have suspected it to be a case of food poisoning.
On Wednesday afternoon, the three girls had gone to the fields to cut grass and did not return until late evening. Members of their family went out to look for them and found them in the field lying unconscious. The girls’ hands and feet were bound to their dupatta and they were frothing at the mouth, suggesting that poison was given to them.
The police said that they suspect a case of poisoning but further investigation will be carried out and necessary actions will be taken.
