Twelfth Manappuram Minnale award distributed
The twelfth Manappuram Minnale (FMB) award has been distributed to the eminent personalities in the film, television and business sectors in a function organised at Crowne Plaza in Kochi.
Manappuram Finance Managing Director V P Nandakumar has inaugurated the FMB award distribution function. Pegasus Chairman Dr Ajit Ravi and FMB award jury members Roy Manappalil and Salam Bappu have participated in the event. The awards have been distributed by these four legends.
Indrans and Seema G Nair have won the awards for their excellence in the art of acting. Meanwhile, Haneef Adeni has been given the award for the Best Newcomer Director for the film Great Father.

In the media sector, Vanambadi (Asianet, Avantika Creations) has secured the award for the Best Serial. Meanwhile, K K Rajeev (Surya TV, Ayalathe Sundari) has achieved the Best Scriptwriter award
In the news media sector, when George Mundakkal (Asianet News) has grabbed the award for the Best Editor, the Best News Anchor-Male and Best News Anchor-Female have been wristed by Gopi Krishnan K R (Media One) and Siji UnniKrishnan (Jeevan TV) respectively. Meanwhile, the Manorama News’ satirical news comedy program ‘Thiruva Ehirva’, which is presented by Saneesh TK, has won the Best Satirical Comedy Program award. Notably, the Mathrubumi News’ interview program ‘Show Guru’ (Aneesh) has secured the award for the Best Interview Program.
