Talking on the phone for so long; Sister strangled to death

A young woman was strangled to death by her brother for talking on a mobile phone for a long time. Gayathri, daughter of Murugesan, a native of Palani, was killed. Gayatri was rushed to a hospital as she felt unwell where doctors said they found suspicious scars on her neck.

Police also found out that her brother Balamurugan was behind the murder. He confessed to the police that he was outraged when he saw Gayatri talking on the phone for a long time. Police said they would also investigate whether the parents were involved in the incident.
