South Africa to hire ace adventurer to shed the “choker” tag
Despite being one of the world cricket’s most powerful teams since returning in 1991, South Africa struggled a lot in the knockout matches during big international matches, including the World Cup. They were duped in 1992 by a rain rule, stumbled by a ridiculous run out in 1999 and in 2011 they lost to New Zealand. South Africa has thrice reached the semis till now. They have earned a status of “choker” as they always fumble in crucial matches. In a bid to overcome their inability to win big matches, the South African team has hired ace adventurer Mike Horn. It is believed that he will put all his views and tips into a much perspective view for the team since he has undergone such kind of pressure and fears a lot of times with real life experiences. In Sydney, the pressure is again on the Proteas again as they start a warm match against Sri Lanka. South Africa coach Russell Domingo, has said that Gary Kirsten and Michael Hussey have supported the team by giving their tips but finds Horn’s background slightly different from them. Whatever may be the outcome, it is now apparent for the opposition teams that beating AB’s men won’t be any easy.
