Sonam Kapoor dug up this throwback photo for Anil and Sunita Kapoor’s wedding anniversary

On their wedding anniversary, Sonam Kapoor chose special throwback photos of her parents, Anil and Sunita Kapoor. She shared the photos on her Instagram account on Thursday, writing in the caption: “Happy Anniversary to the most amazing parents on the planet! As a couple, parents, and partners, you both set the best example… I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Also, mom, your father is smitten with you… It was disgusting when I was a kid, but it’s now unbelievably cute.” Sunita Kapoor, Sonam’s mother, wrote in the comments section: “What made it so revolting? Being surrounded by love is the best feeling in the world.”

Anil Kapoor, too, posted adorable throwback photos to his Instagram account, captioning them: “Sunita Kapoor, I wish you a happy anniversary! I wish that everyone could experience love like ours! Every year, I’m so fortunate to be growing up with you. Thank you for giving me three crazy, incredibly loving, fiercely independent children. You are the centre of my universe… It’s difficult to be separated from you for the first time in 48 years, and I’m counting down the days, minutes, and seconds until we can reunite in your favourite spot. I love you and miss you.”

Sunita Kapoor, like Anil Kapoor, chose a set of perfect throwbacks and wrote: “Husband, happy anniversary. You’re my best friend, human diary, and half-sister… Here’s to us, our love, our hearts, and our dreams… as well as many more adventures to come. I adore and miss you.”

In 1984, Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor married. The couple met on the set of Meri Jung for the first time. Sonam Kapoor, their daughter, is a Bollywood actress. Rhea, their middle child, is a film producer who co-owns Rheson with her sister Sonam. Harshvardhan Kapoor, the couple’s son, is also a Bollywood actor.
