Ratan Tata Visits Taj Hotel Without Bodyguards in Nano

Ratan Tata is without a doubt one of India’s most well-known industrialists. The Tata Nano, which was priced at 1 lakh and allowed many Indians to realise their dream of owning a car, is one of his many achievements. The Tata Trusts Chairman has now won over the Internet by arriving at a Mumbai hotel in a Tata Nano.

Ratan Tata is seen driving up to the Taj Hotel in a viral video shared on Instagram. The industrialist’s grace and simplicity have wowed social media users. Several people have expressed their admiration and respect for Ratan Tata in response to the post. “So simple and humble,” one user commented.

One of the comments read, “Legend.”

Ratan Tata was described as a “great human soul with a true spirit of humanity” by one user. “We have a lot to learn from him.”

Ratan Tata recently wrote a letter about what Tata Nano means to him. He said the car was always “meant for all our people” in a touching and detailed caption.

“What really motivated me, and sparked a desire to produce such a vehicle, was constantly seeing Indian families on scooters, maybe the child sandwiched between the mother and father, riding to wherever they were going, often on slippery roads,” Ratan Tata wrote on Instagram. One of the advantages of attending the School of Architecture was that it taught me how to doodle in my spare time. We were trying to figure out how to make two-wheelers safer at first, so the doodles evolved into four wheels with no windows or doors, just a basic dune buggy. But in the end, I decided on a car. The Nano was always intended for all of us.”

The Nano was first introduced by Tata Motors on January 10, 2008. Nano was discontinued a decade later, in 2018, due to issues such as dwindling sales.
