Dr. C.J. Roy, noted businessman and Chairman of Confident Group, passed away following an incident at his office in Anepalya, Bengaluru. As per the report, he sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. Officials from the Ashok Nagar Police Station reached the location soon after receiving information and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
Dr. C.J. Roy was the Founder and Chairman of Confident Group, a prominent real estate conglomerate with a strong presence in Kerala and Bengaluru. Under his leadership, the Group completed over 159 projects across multiple segments, earning a solid reputation in the construction and real estate industry. He began his professional career as a Merchant Navy officer before moving into entrepreneurship, where he built a distinguished business legacy.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Mr. Roy was actively involved in education, hospitality, and charitable initiatives. He was widely respected for his contributions to society, his visionary leadership, and his dedication to fostering entrepreneurship and community development.
