Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar died at the age of 46

Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar died following a heart attack. According to reports, Puneeth was rushed to a Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru after he suffered a severe heart attack. Fans had gathered at the Vikram Hospital in Bangalore on learning of Puneeth Rajkumar’s admission. Puneeth Rajkumar passed away a few minutes ago after failing everyone’s prayers.

Puneeth Rajkumar is the son of legendary actor Rajkumar was last seen in the movie Yuvarathnaa which was a massive hit. The movie released in several languages. As soon as news of his illness broke, all the industry stalwarts including Gurudutt, Ravichandran thronged the hospital to pay him a visit.

Puneeth, who is lovingly called as ‘Appu’, by his fans, for his spectacular performance in the 2002 film ‘Appu’.The actor, who started his career as a child artist, has appeared in over 29 Kannada films. Puneet Rajkumar has acted in some of Rajkumar’s films as a child. Puneeth won the National Award for Best Child Actor for his role as Appu in Bettada Hoovu.
