PM will unveil a special series of coins and kick off FinMin and MCA’s Iconic Week celebrations
On Monday at 10:30 a.m., Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the Iconic Week Celebrations of the Ministries of Finance and Corporate Affairs at Delhi’s Vigyan Bhawan. The Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, which runs from June 6 to June 11, is hosting the week.
According to a PMO release, he will issue a special series of Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10, and Rs 20 coins that will feature the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav logo and will be easily identifiable by visually impaired people. The Prime Minister will launch the Jan Samarth portal, a national portal for credit-linked government schemes, at this event.
The Jan Samarth portal is a “first-of-its-kind platform that directly connects beneficiaries to lenders,” with the goal of encouraging inclusive growth and development by providing appropriate government benefits through simple and easy digital processes. The portal aims to cover all schemes from beginning to end.
Modi will also open a digital exhibition charting the evolution of the two ministries since the NDA took office in 2014. On Narendra Modi’s official YouTube channel, NM app, Narendra Modi Facebook page, official Narendra Modi Twitter account, and official Narendra Modi Instagram account, the event will be streamed live.
