PM Modi’s praise is appreciated by Indian-American NGO

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was praised by an Indian-American non-profit organisation working for the rights of people with disabilities for mentioning its work in his recent “Mann Ki Baat” address.

Modi acknowledged the Voice of SAP’s technology initiatives and their impact on Divyangs in his monthly address to the nation on April 24. (persons with disabilities).

In a statement, VOSAP’s Pranav Desai said, “VOSAP is honoured, feels more responsible, and is very thankful for this recognition, appreciation.”Modi praised the body’s work and explained how it has been promoting newer opportunities in the area of assistive technologies, such as its 3D VOSAP art gallery, the world’s first virtual art gallery on the theme of disability, in his speech.

In his remarks, Modi emphasised how the Divyangs’ extraordinary abilities and skills are combined with technology to benefit the entire nation and the world, according to VOSAP.”The VOSAP vision is to use technology solutions to achieve economic expansion by leveraging large-scale impact, empowerment, and mainstreaming of millions of specially abled people,” it stated.

“VOSAP is working with policymakers at NITI Aayog, the UN, and innovators to accelerate technology adoption, make them affordable, and potentially put India on a path to emerging as an export hub for a better world for the 1 billion plus global population of persons with disabilities in the next two-three decades,” according to the statement.
