PM Modi: Statue of Subhash Chandra Bose to Be Placed at India Gate
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that his statue will be placed at India Gate to honour Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s contribution to the freedom fighters on the 125th anniversary of his birth. The prime minister stated that until the installation is done, a hologram of Netaji will be displayed at the site of the statue.
“On the 23rd of January, Netaji’s birth anniversary,” he tweeted, “I will unveil the hologram statue.” “At a time when the entire nation is commemorating Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s 125th birth anniversary, I am pleased to announce that his grand granite statue will be placed at India Gate,” PM Modi tweeted on Friday.
“This would be a reminder of India’s gratitude to him.” The statue will be placed beneath the great canopy that houses the Amar Jawan Jyothi, which flashes in honour of India’s martyrs.
