PM Modi inaugurates two-day GCCS summit
The fifth edition of the Global Conference on Cyber Space has been inaugurated by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.
As per the report, at least one hundred and twenty countries are participating in the two-day summit which is happening in the national capital, New Delhi.
Importantly, as many as ten thousand delegates have been invited to attend the prestigious function.
In the inauguration function, the Indian PM has spoken about the speedy evolution of cyber space from the bulky mainframe computers to hand-held smartphones.
He has also explained how his government used the modern digital technology to bring great difference in the life of each people living in the country.
In his speech, he has also described how the JAM, Aadhaar, Mobile-enabled services helped to reduce corruption and how the Narendra Modi mobile app helped to deepen his connection with the citizens living in the country, particularly those living in the rural areas.
