Pigs Lick Utensils At Government-Run Canteen In Rajasthan

During the Covid epidemic, the Rajasthani government established subsidised canteens all over the state. The Indira Rasoi Yojana established the canteens, which offer meals for as little as 8. However, after a video showing pigs licking silverware went popular on social media, one such canteen faced harsh criticism.

In the footage, pigs can be seen in Bharatpur near MSJ College licking food-serving plates. The event is being looked into, according to the mayor of Bharatpur, who stated that he has seen the footage. Mr. Kumar stated that the Municipal Corporation would take the proper action as this appeared to be the product of careless operators.

The licence of the canteen where the event took place, according to another official, has been suspended.
