Persana AI Secures $2.3M Funding to Revolutionize Sales Intelligence for GTM Teams
Sales intelligence platform Persana AI has raised $2.3 million in a seed funding round, attracting investment from Y Combinator, Race Capital, and Stage 2 Capital, with notable backing from Dharmesh Shah, HubSpot’s CTO. As the sales intelligence market is projected to grow from $4 billion in 2024 to over $10 billion by 2032, Persana AI aims to seize this opportunity, focusing on optimizing workflows and boosting growth for go-to-market (GTM) teams.
LinkedIn veterans Rush Shahani and Sriya Maram founded Persana AI, addresses GTM challenges through AI-driven tools that streamline manual tasks like data entry and prospecting. The company plans to enhance its platform by introducing autonomous agents tailored to each GTM cycle stage, which could reduce the sales cycle by up to 25% and improve conversion rates by 30%. Shahani describes the platform as a “prospecting super app,” which saves users significant time and supports pipeline growth.
Race Capital’s Edith Yeung highlighted the founders’ previous success at LinkedIn, where they tackled complex data challenges with advanced AI capabilities. Persana AI’s differentiated approach includes robust multi-source data consolidation, setting it apart from competitors like ZoomInfo and Apollo, which improves productivity and efficiency for clients in rapidly growing enterprises.
