Pegasus Trust’s New Initiative For a Better and Cleaner Tomorrow

A new venture in the books of Pegasus Trust by installing mini 5-star cafe, e-toilet, and a few more facilities for the convenience of common people. The first installation will be taking place in Kochi shortly and gradually they have decided to install it in pan India.

The main motto of such initiative is the effective usage of CSR funds of company/corporates by using it for public convenience as well as to earn respect from the State/Centre/Judiciary, Media, and public. It will also provide recognition and will help in uplifting their brand image.

There are 6-8 jobs created with each installation. It’s more than 5-star facility toilets, mini cafe, LED screen on top for advertising, EV charging facility and the operations are run on electricity generated from Solar Panels.

The idea for the aforementioned e-toilet arose from feedback they received from women who said that using public restrooms puts them at a very high risk of urinary infections. As a result, the aforementioned designs were developed.

There will not be any external sources of electricity, or water connections due to having their own borewell for water and solar system for electricity. These projects will be carried at government properties. Through this public can get 5 star experience with proper hygiene and serenity.

Ad displaying on the LED screen will be the source of income which will be used for giving salaries to the employees and the remaining amount after all the expenditure will be handed over to the respective municipality/ coorporation/ panchayat for their CSR activities. The main objective of these initiatives is to make a positive impact on society, the environment, or for human welfare, rather than generating any financial returns. Pegasus trust is all set to take over one of the biggest project mainly focusing on the convenience of common people.

Pegasus group has well over two decades of its existence in the media and events with its own titles that people can rely upon. ‘My main aim is to provide well maintained and hygienic facilities for all individuals without expecting any business profit unlike others’ said Ajit Ravi Pegasus, Chairman, Pegasus Trust. The aforementioned concept fits with the country’s need for further image improvement by shifting focus from Swachh (cleaner) to Sundar (beautiful) India.
