Over 1.2M Indians Visit Singapore in 2025; MICE Travel Boosts Tourism
Singapore saw over 1.2 million Indian visitors in 2025, marking a 1% increase from 2024, according to the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). This growth highlights sustained interest from India in Singapore as both a leisure and business destination, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two nations.
International visitor arrivals to Singapore reached 16.9 million in 2025, a 2.3% rise from the previous year. India remained among the top five source markets, alongside Mainland China, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Australia, underscoring the country’s strong contribution to Singapore’s tourism landscape.
Tourism receipts from India rose 5% year-on-year to SGD 1.17 billion, reflecting higher spending per visitor. STB credited the growth to diverse travel demand, from leisure experiences to MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) events, supported by enhanced connectivity, seamless travel, and targeted marketing campaigns.
