Mukesh Ambani, Son’s Fiancee Visit Andhra Temple, Donate ₹ 1.5 Crore
Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), paid a visit to the Lord Venkateswara temple in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirumala on Friday. Mr. Ambani was accompanied by Radhika Merchant, the fiancée of his son Anant, and Manoj Modi, the director of Reliance Retail Ltd.
At Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, a separate trust that also oversees the Lord Venkateswara Temple and the temples in Andhra Pradesh, he offered an offering of 1.5 crore rupees. Mukesh Ambani and Radhika Merchant could be seen in a video praying at the shrine. In the vicinity of the temple, they also fed an elephant and asked for its blessing.
According to Mr. Ambani, he visited the temple to receive Lord Venkateswara’s blessings.
“Every year, the temple improves even further, which is quite proud of us Indians. We came here to pray for blessings for everyone “said he. Mukesh Ambani went to the Shrinathji temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, earlier on Monday.
