Mammootty in Telugu again, this time in Akhil Akineni’s ‘Agent’; Star went to Europe for the shoot

Mammootty returns to Telugu after ‘Yatra’ about YSR’s life. Mammootty will be playing the role in Nagarjuna’s son and young actor Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Agent’. According to reports, Mammootty will be seen in the role of an army officer in the film.

There are reports that Mammootty will go to Europe the next day for the shooting of the action-packed film. The shooting of the film is currently in progress. Filming in Europe runs until November 2. The film is directed by Surender Reddy.

Agent is a film inspired by the Hollywood thriller Bone Series. The shooting will also take place in Kashmir, Delhi and Hyderabad. Mammootty’s last Telugu film was ‘Yathra’ released in 2019. Mammootty played the role of YSR in the film which portrayed the political career of YS Rajasekhara Reddy. In the 2004 assembly elections, the YSR Congress, which helped the Congress party, which was not in the picture, to come to power, won 1475 km. The film was based on a long walk. Written and directed by Mahi V Raghav. The film had a huge audience following.
