Maharashtra Woman Killed By Live-In Partner, Body Hidden In Bed Box: Cops

According to authorities, a 37-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her live-in partner, who then placed her body under the bed’s storage section at their leased home outside of Mumbai.

When Hardik Shah attempted to leave the Palghar district of Maharashtra, the railway police apprehended him. Megha, a nurse, used to pay the bills while Hardik was unemployed. As a result, they frequently argued, which eventually led to the murder, according to a statement from the police.

Hardik sold some home things after killing Megha and made off with the proceeds. He was apprehended at Nagda, Madhya Pradesh, by the railway police after the authorities learned he was trying to escape by train.

According to police, a crime branch team is in route to take custody of the suspect. Megha and Hardik, who had been dating for three years, had been living together for the last six months. Nearly a month prior, they had relocated to the rental home.

According to the police, their neighbours also complained about their frequent fights.
