Lewis Hamilton has signed a new deal with Mercedes which is a three year deal that is until the end of 2018. He has been with the team since 2013 with six years being at McLaren. Lewis Hamilton has won the world champion title twice in 2008 and 2014. It is reported that Lewis Hamilton’s basic salary will be of $31 million along with his extensive bonuses. These bonuses will be even useful even if he becomes world champion or not, it would come up to his annual earnings up to $40 million. McLaren’s Fernando Alonso and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel overall value is similar to Lewis Hamilton’s deal. Lewis Hamilton had won his first world title with McLaren in 2008 where he has won 15 races and has also this season’s three of first five races. Lewis Hamilton’s new contract with Mercedes has been in talks since few weeks. Lewis Hamilton refers Mercedes as his home.
