Large-scale drug bust in Delhi; 40 crore worth of heroin seized; Two persons, including the mastermind, have been arrested
Big drug bust in Delhi. The Delhi Police Special Cell arrested two persons with 6.2 kg of heroin worth Rs 40 crore. According to the Delhi Police, the suspects were members of international drug lords.
Rakesh Kumar, a rockie, and Obumene Wachuko, a Nigerian national, were arrested. According to the Delhi Police, the Nigerian national is a key link in the drug syndicate. Obumene Wachuko has previously been convicted of drug trafficking.
In 2012, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison and fined Rs 2 lakh. Obama was released in 2020 after serving eight years in prison. This was after the Delhi High Court granted bail.
