Kings Infra Ventures Ltd has signed a ₹2,500-crore agreement with the Andhra Pradesh government to establish a large-scale aquaculture technology park near Srikakulam. Spanning 500 acres, the project is set to become one of India’s most significant Blue Economy initiatives, integrating advanced hatcheries, indoor farming systems, processing facilities and a marine bio-actives division, all supported by the company’s AI-powered BlueTechOS platform. The state government has committed to single-window clearances to accelerate the park’s development.
As part of the investment plan, Kings Infra will contribute ₹500 crore towards core infrastructure, research centres and processing units, while an additional ₹2,000 crore is expected from renewable energy partners, ancillary industries and small businesses joining the ecosystem. Chairman and MD Shaji Baby John said the project aims to set new global benchmarks in sustainable seafood production and firmly position Andhra Pradesh as a hub for high-tech aquaculture.
Designed to support multi-species farming—including shrimp, seabass, grouper and tilapia—the park is expected to enhance exports, create employment and stimulate innovation across the seafood value chain. Over the next five years, Kings Infra also plans to train 5,000 aquaculture professionals in modern, technology-driven farming practices, strengthening the sector’s skilled workforce.
