Jammu and Kashmir on high alert; Intelligence Bureau will meet today
The IB (intelligence bureau) meeting to be convened today will discuss the ongoing terrorist attack on civilians in Jammu and Kashmir. In two weeks, 11 civilians were killed in Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces have stepped up vigilance in the affected areas.
Kashmir IGP Vijay Kumar said there was no suggestion that other state workers should be shifted to police stations or army camps and that the reports were false. But based on the order, the workers were shifted to camps by police officers in several places. Two Bihar nationals were killed in a terrorist attack yesterday.
The condition of the third person who was seriously injured has improved. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar spoke to the Left Governor of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion. Meanwhile, the search for terrorists in Poonch continues for the eighth day.
