‘Indian Muslims must respond’; Al Qaeda leader Zawahiri responds to the issue of hijab

Al Qaeda, a global terrorist organization, responds to the issue of hijab in Karnataka. Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri has called on India to respond to the crackdown. Zawahiri’s call was made in a nine – minute video released by Qaeda’s official Shabab media. Zawahiri praised college student Muskan Khan for responding to students who came out against the hijab. Zawahiri praised Muskan Khan for his poem.

Zawahiri’s video was in the background of a poster that read ‘The Noble Woman of India’. Zawahiri also criticized countries that banned the hijab. Zawahiri also accused Pakistan and Bum Gladesh of being allies of the West. This is Zawahiri’s first appearance in a video since last November. In 2020, there were reports that Zawahiri had died.

But then a video appeared indicating that Zawahiri was alive. Zawahiri is said to be hiding in a hideout in Afghanistan. In his November 2021 video, Zawahiri criticized the United Nations. Zawahiri said the UN was hostile to Islam and that the UN was a threat to Islamic countries.
