India to get its first indoor skydiving facility in Hyderabad

You must not have heard of indoor skydiving if you thought skydiving was only possible outside, jumping out of an aeroplane into a descent of thousands of metres. But don’t be concerned. You’ll be able to experience it for the first time in India soon, as Hyderabad is set to bring the first-of-its-kind experience to the country.

Indoor skydiving involves vertical wind tunnels that simulate a plane jump and provide the thrill of a free fall. Except that you won’t need parachutes or planes. It is also free of the dangers of weather and wind anomalies, as well as being much less expensive.

GravityZip is bringing the experience to Gandipet in Hyderabad this month. Except for pregnant women and people with pre-existing medical conditions, it is completely safe.

The space has a three-meter-long tunnel with a wind speed of 200 to 400 kilometers per hour. Participants will be given a jumpsuit made of cotton, spandex, and nylon, as well as shoes and a helmet, to ensure their safety. Trained European officials will supervise and monitor the experience. On GravityZip’s website, adventurers can now pre-book this adventure. The prices range from Rs 2,800 to Rs 3,300.
