IAS officer selling vegetables by the roadside; Image goes viral, explanation

Vegetable sales by an IAS officer at the roadway went viral. Uttar Pradesh Transport Department special secretary Akhilesh Mishra’s photo went viral on his Facebook page. The IAS officer was selling vegetables when he arrived at Prayag Raj for official purposes.

The picture of Mishra sitting on the side of the road selling vegetables appeared on her Facebook account the other day. It was highly shared. One group argued at the bottom of the post that it did not fit Mishra’s position and that it showed the humility of a high – ranking official. With this, Mishra himself gave an explanation.

The incident went on to say, “I have officially gone to Prayag Raj for a purpose. From there I approached a street vendor to buy vegetables. The old man told me to look at the shop for a while. They have an urgent need to go.

‘As more people came to buy vegetables, I sat there and picked up the goods myself. My friend captured this on camera and put it on Facebook. I did not notice that this was discussed ‘- Akhilesh Mishra later clarified.
