How the Internet Aided A Zomato Delivery Man In Purchasing A Bicycle
A social media fundraising campaign has helped a Zomato delivery agent buy a bike, which is a refreshing turn of events. It all started when someone tweeted a photo of a delivery person riding a bicycle. The fact that his order arrived on time, despite the scorching heat, surprised the customer.

Durga Meena, 31, is a teacher who lost his job during the pandemic, according to the person after a brief conversation. For the past four months, he has been delivering food. “Mr Meena lost his job as a teacher during COVID-19. He was also conversing with me in English.”
It doesn’t end there, though. Mr. Meena has finished his studies. He intends to enrol in a master’s degree programme. Mr. Meena was also trying to save money for a laptop so he could teach students online and a bike so he could do his job at Zomato more easily.”After delivering 10 to 12 orders per day on a bicycle, I don’t have time to breathe.” “It would be a lot easier for me if I had a bike,” he said.
After learning everything Mr Meena needs to buy a bike, the user decided to “raise 75k in crowdfunding.” “Guys, I want to raise $75k through crowdfunding,” he wrote on the social media platform. I know it’s a big sum, but if we reach 75k people and each of them donates one rupee, we’ll be able to grant his wish for a bike.” And the goal was met in less than four hours.
