Unique times-Government promotes over 150 IRS officers I-T Commissioners.

For 153 Indian Revenue Services (IRS officers) where issued by the Finance Ministry department. A senior I-T said that the recent promoted commissioner will now take charge and ensure faster work. As they expected that with these posting, the department will be able to address the back log of tax payers appeals and offers better services to the tax payers in the field offices , so these officers will be deployed in posts primarily dealing with matters of dispute revolution it said .
