Gold and silver at the Paralympics; Indian athletes shoot double medals

India wins double medal in Tokyo Paralympics shooting. India’s Manish Narwal won gold and Singraj Adana won silver. The achievement was in the 50m pistol SH1 category. Nineteen-year-old Manish won the gold with a Paralympic record of 218.2 points. Singh Raj scored 216.7 points.

This is Singraj’s second medal in Tokyo. Earlier, Singh Raj had won bronze in the 10m air pistol SH1 category. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the winners.
