From Wedding Schedule to Wedding Date Confirmed for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt

All of the ceremonies, beginning with today’s mehendi, will take place at Vastu, the couple’s apartment complex in Mumbai’s Pali Hills. Today, a pooja was held in the presence of immediate family, and the mehendi ceremony will begin after lunch, around 2 p.m. Only close family and friends will be present at the intimate gathering. There are no other commitments for the day; however, some of Ranbir and Alia’s close friends are expected to pay them a visit today – Ayan Mukerji, who directs them in Brahmastra, was spotted in Vastu last night.

According to family sources, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding will take place tomorrow, April 14. At 3 p.m., their wedding will take place at their Vastu building flat. This will be limited to immediate family and friends. The couple wanted their wedding to be a private affair; Ranbir is known for being a very private person, and Alia wanted her wedding to be the same way – just family and close friends.

Tables have been unloaded and deliveries of crockery and Sabyasachi carry bags have been arriving in Vastu, where Ranbir and Alia live, this week. The apartment complex where all of the ceremonies will take place has been screened off with cloth, but paparazzi caught police arriving yesterday to review security arrangements. Cameras also caught a glimpse inside the apartment where the ceremonies will take place, which has been lit up.

In addition to Vastu, RK Studios and the Kapoor family home, Krishna Raj Bungalow, have been illuminated. Krishna Raj, which is currently under construction, is rumoured to be Alia and Ranbir’s future home.

Riddhima Kapoor and her family, including husband Bharat Sahni and daughter Samara, were photographed at Mumbai airport on Tuesday evening after flying in from New Delhi.There are currently no plans for a reception, but once Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have completed their work commitments, they may throw a big Bollywood-style bash later this month. Alia also departs for the set of Heart of Stone, her Hollywood film with Gal Gadot, next month.
