Former governor of Kerala R L Bhatia died due to Covid 19
On Friday night former Union minister of state for external affairs RL Bhatia passed away subsequent to testing positive for Covid-19 at a private hospital in Amritsar.
He was 99. Bhatia, who likewise filled in as the governor of Kerala from 2004-08, is survived by a son and a daughter, both based in Amritsar.
Amritsar West Congress MLA Raj Kumar Verka said that Bhatia was going through treatment for Covid-19 at the Fortis Escorts Hospital and passed away around 11.30pm on Friday. The incineration will be held around 11.30am on Saturday.
