Deepinder Goyal Teases Dark.ai, Expanding Beyond Food Delivery
Deepinder Goyal, founder of Zomato and vice chairman of Eternal, has announced plans for a new artificial intelligence venture called Dark.ai. In a post on X, Goyal indicated that the venture would operate under Eternal, the parent company of Zomato, Blinkit, Hyperpure and District. However, details about the product and its intended services have not yet been disclosed.
Dark.ai marks another potential step in Goyal’s investments beyond food delivery and quick commerce. He has also been exploring health technology through Temple, a wearable technology venture focused on health-related applications. While Temple is preparing for pre-orders expected to begin on November 1, 2026, Dark.ai’s exact purpose remains unclear, with no confirmation on whether it will be an AI model, software platform or consumer-facing service.
The announcement comes alongside Eternal’s second-quarter financial results, scheduled for October 21, 2026. The company is also expected to hold an earnings conference call to discuss its financial performance. Further details about Dark.ai may emerge as the company shares more information about its plans.
