Cabinet Clears ₹33,660 Cr BHAVYA Scheme to Build 100 Industrial Parks
The Union Cabinet, led by Narendra Modi, has approved the ₹33,660 crore Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana to accelerate India’s manufacturing growth. The initiative aims to develop 100 plug-and-play industrial parks across the country, offering ready-to-use infrastructure for businesses and investors.
The scheme focuses on ease of doing business by providing pre-approved land, single-window clearances, and fully developed facilities. These industrial parks, ranging from 100 to 1,000 acres, will include core infrastructure like roads, utilities, and drainage, along with value-added features such as factory units, testing labs, and warehousing.
Aligned with sustainability and modern logistics, BHAVYA will also incorporate green energy, worker housing, and strong connectivity under PM GatiShakti. The government expects the initiative to boost investments, strengthen supply chains, and generate large-scale employment, positioning India as a global manufacturing hub.
